This page has photos from a few recent Alpha Chi Omega
events. Throughout the year, Alpha Chi Omega sponsors or participates in:
-
Casino Night. This Fall fundraiser promotes the Alpha Chi Omega
altruism--Women Against Domestic Violence. All proceeds go to the Alpha Chi Omega foundation
and Women Against Domestic Violence. (For details
about this event, please contact the chapter President.)
-
a Christmas party for local children who would otherwise go without new clothes and
toys at Christmas.
-
a Christmas time formal Masquerade Ball held at the Black Eyed Susan. Each sister invites two
guests--and the best part is that one guest is a MYSTERY!
-
an Alumni Tea on
(or near) Founders Day, which gives the current sisters a chance to meet
local alumni and enables alumni to stay connected with Alpha Chi
Omega.
- Greek Week, during which the 6 fraternities and
sororities at Washington College participate in
Greek Games. This event gives each group a chance to compete in fun, obstacle course-like games!
-
Birthday Ball, held each February in the Lifetime Fitness Center. This fun time for Washington College Alpha
Chis celebrates George Washington's birthday.
- an after rush
Spring Dinner Dance. Each sister invites one date and everyone
enjoys the evening together at either a sister's house, on a boat,
or somewhere fancy such as the Officer's Club at the Naval Academy.
Alpha Chi's also enjoy spending time with other organizations
on campus... these formal events range from Phi Delta Theta's brother
dinner to the Theta Chi and Kappa Alpha Christmas parties!
