Bid Day 2011

"Alpha Chi Omega is a national women's organization that enriches the lives of both its collegiate and alumnae members through lifetime opportunities for friendship, leadership, learning, and service."

"It's a warm smile on a cold and rainy day, a friendly hug, a cheerful hello.
It's baking cookies together.
It's get better cards when you are sick.
It's "Just because I love you" presents.
It's a phone call just to make you smile!
It's all that a good and lasting friendship is, only better!
It's treasured. It's sacred.
It's knowing that there will always
be someone there for you, no matter what.
It's dreams shared, and goals achieved.
It's counting on others, and being counted on!
It's... Alpha Chi Omega!" ~ Anonymous

A Letter from the President

Moira Schafle

Thank you for visiting Alpha Chi Omega at Washington College! The Beta Pi chapter of Alpha Chi Omega has been a part of Washington College history for over 50 years and has continued to grow with each new class of initiates.

My name is Moira Schafle, and it is my honor and privilege to serve as Alpha Chi Omega’s 2011-2012 Chapter President and I am thrilled to represent such an amazing group of girls. This organization is full of beautiful and talented young women who succeed everyday from the classroom to the athletic field. These young women are scholars, leaders, and work to serve the community.

During my time as an Alpha Chi Omega, I’ve learned that the best part of being in a sorority is knowing that now and forever you always have girls and friends that you can count on because the bonds of sisterhood last a lifetime. I have more sisters and friendships than I could have ever imagined. And the memories that being a member of Alpha Chi Omega have given me I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I am eager to see what this year holds for the of Alpha Chi Omega women of Washington College, and look forward to building upon our illustrious history and continuing our rich traditions.

Please enjoy our website and feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.

Loyally,
Moira Schafle
